She recently completed an apprenticeship with master singer and fiddler Gerry Milnes in Elkins, West Virginia. Annick has performed at festivals in the US, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, both as a solo artist and with bands Linen of Words and Sweet Joe Pye. Together, they showcase a diverse repertoire that blends contemporary and old-time tradition.

BANJO WORKSHOP :

Hilarie Burhans has been playing and teaching her hard-driving clawhammer banjo style for more than 40 years, and is much in demand at festival jams throughout the US, and has collaborated on multiple music projects. She has taught at dozens of camps and workshops in the US, Europe and Australia, has more than 6k subscribers on YouTube, and has hundreds of paid subscribers to her Patreon banjo instructional site..  She co-founded the nationally-touring Hotpoint Stringband, with whom she has recorded five albums, and a track from her solo CD was featured on an episode of the acclaimed HBO series Deadwood. GUITAR WORKSHOP :

Allan Carr (originally from Scotland) has been playing American style old time music since meeting his wife, American Fiddler Janie Rothfield in 1978 (Janie was at university in Aberdeen)! He has developed a back up guitar style that is firmly rooted in the tradition of Roy Harvey and Riley Pucket combined with his own expressive rhythms, bass runs and chord choices. He has toured throughout the UK and USA with Janie, and their bands Hadden, Rothfield & Carr, Atlantic Bridge, Red Hen and Coracree.. Allan is a sought after guitar teacher and has been on staff at numerous camps and festivals such as Swannanoa Gathering, Earful of Fiddle, Great Lakes Music Camp, Banjo Camp North, John C. Campbell Folk School, Janie's Jumpstart and more!
